Deserving of it's own post....

Again, in the interest of fairness, I post what someone submitted as a comment to the main screen.

Holy crap (pun intended)! Haven't you gone away yet? Can't you stop? Is it too hard to just keep your pie hole shut?I have posted here before and will reiterate LOUDLY - Catholic Schools, including HC, ARE NOT Democracies. You have the right to your very own opinion and the school, the parish, the other parents and everyone else on the planet has the right to not care. You also have the right to remove your child from the school and go elsewhere. Put your kids into public school. Go cry to the Administrators and the School Board about how you don't like things in public schools. They'll pat you on you widdle head and scoot you right on out the door. You and your secret Cabal Of The Hurt Feelings can take your attorney, secret meetings and hurt feelings and go bye-bye. Seriously, if you would stop for one minute and think like the rational, reasonable, adult Christian you claim to be, you'd be stunned at your whining over the past months. 95% of the other families at school are very happy with our children being at HC.In fact, my only problem is that every so often I hear that "the Blogger" is at it again. Every time I read your rambling whinings, I am losing minutes of my life that I can never get back. Ever. And I blame you.I can sum up my feelings toward you with a quote from "Tommy Boy"-***************************If you guys don't know how to use a seatbelt, just ring your call button and Tommy will come back there and hit you on the head with a tack hammer because you're a *retard*. ****************************Yup, that about does it.

Well, I am glad that you are confirming what my numbers say about the number of people who come to the web site.

However, I refuse to accept your logic. It isn’t a democracy, but it ain’t a theocracy, either. Too many of you seem to confuse obedience to the church to obedience to Denise.

There have been bad policies with bad impacts, and if I thought it just affected me, I would agree with you. We’ve had many staff meetings here at our Top Secret headquarters where we’ve rejected “tips” because they were too personal or minor.

The problem is that we truly feel as if the school is worse off than it was two years ago. We can point to the number of teachers who have left or those who are rumored to be leaving as proof. We can point to the growing number of non-Catholic teachers. We can point to declining enrollment, or, more troubling, the churn the school is experiencing not just as problems right now, but indicators of more problems ahead.

We believe there is one underlying reason that these and other problems (low volunteer participation, decreasing fund raising participation) are becoming rampant in the school. Some of us believe that it can be fixed, but too much water has gone over the bridge to expect the scores of people that have been offended to simply come waddling back.

Do you realize that the school operates at a deficit? That for every student lost the Church has to come up with $3,000 to make up the difference? And that one of the goals BEFORE Denise got here was to DECREASE the reliance of the school on the subsidy?

I guess we could be like New York and ignore the problem until the Church says, “Been nice to know you; hope to see you around” when they cut the ties to the schools, leaving them on their own. As you probably know, some have made it by becoming charter schools, and giving up their identity. Is that what you want?

Hey...were you the loudmouth at the meeting ran by the lawyer? YOu didn't have your facts straight there, either.

You are shooting the messenger, Mr. Mehoff.

"Jack" ...How many times do parents have to clarify how they feel. It's not about "us", it's about bad leadership and how others are treated by that leadership. If you are that cold that you can look away, so be it. And for your information there are many parents pulling their kids out because of these problems and looking forward to the change.

Oh, so soon? We hardly knew you.

You are always welcome back-unlike, say, parents at the school.

My goodbye Quiz is for those who are leaving! I like to let folks know when "the blogger is at it again" - giggle

Thanks for passing the word around.

One thing that you may notice is that we don't do a whole lot of putting our name out there. If people find us...fine, but if not, they will have a treat when they find us.

As for those leaving....sorry, but finance must not be your strong point. I think those in power thought the school would lose a few people, but they were not concerned....until the trickle started becoming a stream, and maybe on it's way to becoming a river.

-Of course you don't. Don't know if you realize this but you don't sign your name!

What I meant is that I don't advertise this site...it passes on by word of mouth, and a few Google searches, but over half the users come here directly, so I guess I'm on more than a few "favorite sites" olist.
