Things to talk about...

Since it is somewhat buried at Holy Cross School's website, and it had very little notice (the short one line notice in the newsletter), I thought I would help the school by bringing some notice.

There are plenty of things to talk about in the report, but why don't y'all take some time, review what is there, and we'll be back. One thing you may want to consider as you look at it is the timeframe and the status of some of the groups indicated.

"The Standard is met". Enough said. No where in this document did the Middle States Team recommend that parents maintain a blog of negativity.

A nonpartisan, objective group has the data to support this statement: shut this mess down!!

Sorry, but my standards are a bit different than yours, and I want more than "just met".

Why don't you take a look at a few of the recommendations for changes, and cross reference them to what people have been saying needs to be done?

I'd also suggest you look at what she said WAS being done and see if it reasonably could have been done. The best example is the multiple examples of the Advisory Panel (you know, the one she had to be forced to do, but drug her feet on every step of doing it) and what they were supposedly doing. I don't think they even had met more than twice before the team came in.

So I guess someone did die and make you boss.

I recognize that it takes a team of people to assess, evaluate and make those determinations. I am willing to listen to these professionals opinion...

The point is that some parents rave about what a great job she has done. The report only shows that has done an adequate job; that's all! The Middle States Team also wasn't privy to her cruel and odd behavior. "Meeting the standards" does not make up for her unacceptable behavior!
